Australia has became a dream of graphic designer, craft people and stylist. There is a international Australian design BOOM movement happen. Little by little they have develop a very solid design community of artist, magazines, school, architecture and a scene with their own identity. Today we want to talk about Studio Bomba and their shop concept called The good goods
The Studio Bomba shop peddles stationery, artwares, accessories and designer knick-knacks made by clever creative folks from far and near – some as near as the studio and letterpress workshop that share the same digs. Now with added coffee. introduce a mix of everything
Studio Bomba was founded in 2006 by Angela Mitchell and Leah Dent and began life as a traditional graphic design studio servicing clients and their brands. However, as Angela and Leah are not the type of gals to stop still or limit their creativity, fingers were soon stuck in other pies. Wanting to loosen up their lives and find some flexibility, Angela and Leah decided to change Bomba-the-consultancy into Bomba-the-collective. Studio Bomba is now a shared space of independent creative – working individually or together – depending upon the project, product, brand or event.
Today at Studio Bomba you can take part of workshops, plan an event, be part of a special working place net and find a graphic assortment of products with hand made a craft approach.
